About the Owner
Julie M.
Hi! My name is Julie and I am a 40 (something) massage therapist, coffee connoisseur and boutique spa owner in Wilmington Delaware! My goal? To relieve the stress and give you tangible solutions for freeing yourself of pressure, tension and strain.
Before I hopped into the massage industry, I was in a soul crushing, 50+ hour per week corporate job that often ended in slinging drinks at your local pub. Thankfully come 2008 I switched the cocktails for classes and took myself to massage school in hopes of finding personal solutions to my stress management and a job I could truly fall in love with.
With classes under my belt, and years of experience in a medical chiropractic office, I saw first hand the immense damage unaddressed stress can cause on the body. I worked with injuries, chronic patients and those under maintenance learning how to perfect my technique and make each and every massage specific to the recipient.
I became obsessed with healing, experience and service. This lead to my heart project (2012) also known as Tělo Massage Studio. Never did I think I would make the swing from 9 to 5, to business ownership, but the truth is I have never been happier. So here we are, a 10 year journey, swapping cubicle for a studio, pubs for a glass of wine with my fur baby and living a low stress life.
